What we keep: your name, email, a scrambled (hashed) password, and your learning progress: which characters you’ve learned, your review history and which stories you’ve read.
What it’s for: running your account, saving your progress and sending password-reset emails.
Emails: only if you tick the box. Then we may send occasional news about Yomu and products or resources we think Japanese learners might find useful. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can switch it off under Account.
